Yes, it is with bitter-sweet emotion, I share that Brett took his first for real legit step today. I yelled for Rob, who always thinks I'm overdramatic when it comes to Brett. And in true Harman fashion, Brett then proceeded to take two more with both very proud and tearful parents watching. Rob will never admit to the tears, but they were there!! Ironically Brett’s first steps were not walking to his mother with her arms open wide or his father playing with a ball. Brett’s first steps were walking towards a picture of himself that I had just framed….I don’t know what that means.
